| You can't combine MIDI signals just by joining the wires together. Merging MIDI data is a job for a microprocessor, like the state of the art enhanced RISC CPU in the Little 2M merge box. The Little 2M has intelligent prioritisation and interlocks for Pitch Bend and MIDI Clocks. It properly merges all types of MIDI data including MIDI Time Code and System Exclusive. Thanks to state-of-the-art low power technology, the unit is powered via one of its MIDI IN lines. Thus, it requires neither batteries nor an external adapter. An indicator lamp lights when correct power is being received. The same lamp dips to indicate transmit data flow. The lamp flashes during dense data. It flashes rapidly when only synchronisation messages being sent. |
